Inside Deck 4 of a Disney Cruise Ship: Time-lapse

I love Deck 4 of the Disney Cruise ships. I’ve previously written about the outside of Deck 4. Now here’s a quick look at the inside of Deck 4 on the Disney Wonder which is very similar in layout to the Disney Magic. We move from the back of the ship (aft) toward the front, staring with Animators Palate behind us. Here’s what you’ll see in the time-lapse:

1. Shutters

This is where you can come to view and buy the photos taken by the professional photographers on the cruise. There’s a desk with actual people to help as well as automated kiosks where you can swipe your Key To The World card to see all the photos associated with your stateroom.

2. The Vista Gallery

The Vista Gallery has Disney-themed works by multiple artists that are for sale. I’ve seen plenty of pieces I like here, but we’ve never purchased any.

3. D Lounge

Lots of things take place in D Lounge over the course of a cruise, so it’s worth knowing where to find it. You might go there for family karaoke, a cooking demonstration, or a character meet.

4. The Disney Vacation Club Desk

Then we are walking on the balcony in the atrium. On the deck plans, it says this is the future cruise desk, but isn’t. That’s on the Starboard side, and we’re walking up the Port Side.

5. Mainsail and White Caps

This hallway leads to the shops and to the Walt Disney Theater

These are the two biggest stores on the Wonder and Magic. Mainsail on the left has more kid appeal and general souvenirs. White Caps has more adult and less “touristy” apparel. It’s also where you can find convenience items you might need on your cruise.

6. The Walt Disney Theater

The Walt Disney Theater is the main venue for evening entertainment, and in the walk-through video you can see that it’s decorated for the Golden Mickeys performance for that night.
