The early trips were completely worth it, but so much work for the parents.

Don’t get me wrong, we had a magical time taking our kids during the preschool years.  We loved the looks of wonderment on their faces.  We treasure the pictures of their first hug with Mickey. Why teens are awesome at Disney:

1. They generally meet all the height requirements.

2. They are so much less work than younger kids.  They carry their own luggage, and they never expect you to carry them back to the hotel.  You don’t have to follow them into the restroom to wait outside the stall door.

  1. Agreed! Although, as my sons became teenagers, they were less interested in going to Disney World but that changed after a few years. Now they can just go back to the resort or go do whatever they want if they don’t want to do what I want in the parks!
