The Hungry Bear Restaurant At The Disneyland Resort

If you don’t want to wait in this line, use Mobile Ordering.

When I’m at work on a rainy Tuesday in February, and I think about where I’d rather be, I often pick the Hungry Bear restaurant at Disneyland.  I’d have my onion rings and a cool drink, and I’d sit in the shade watching boats go by on the Rivers of America.  Let me tell you why.

Generic priligy should be discontinued only if you are sure that it no longer works, if your doctor tells you so, or if you experience symptoms. Allopurinol tablet is also an antibiotic which can interact with other drugs. After reading this article on the shelf life of lisinopril tablet, you will no further doubt or confusion ineffaceably about the shelf life of lisinopril tablet. This is because zithromax tablets contain zithromax, a medication that has been shown to improve symptoms of bacterial infection, including cold symptoms.

The Food

There’s nothing fancy or even particularly special about the food at The Hungry Bear.  It’s a basic cheeseburger and fries kind of place, and sometimes that’s what you want.  They also serve BBQ cheeseburgers, a fish sandwich, a chicken sandwich, and a Vegan hamburger.  All come with fries or coleslaw, but I like to substitute onion rings.  They usually have some kind of salad as well.  Last summer it was the picnic salad which was pretty nice for a counter-service salad.  They have since switched to a BBQ Chicken salad.  Expect a pre-packaged salad.

Kids have a choice of a hamburger, chicken nuggets, or a  Power Pack which is Danimals yogurt, fresh fruit, carrots, Goldfish crackers, and a drink.  The hamburger is kid-sized and comes with nothing at all on it.  Our hamburger eater was completely non-plussed by this even though condiments were available to add.  Picky eaters may be relieved, however, not to have any unwanted extra stuff to cope with.  There is also a toddler’s Cheesy Macaroni meal served with applesauce and milk.

Watermelon Lemonade Freeze.

The Hungry Bear usually has some fun side items such as the Watermelon Lemonade Freeze, and several types of funnel cakes.  I am intrigued by the Cherry Coca-Cola funnel cake.  Apparently it has real cherries in a Coca-Cola sauce over the funnel cake.  I volunteer to do some reconnaissance and report back.  They also have seasonal offerings such as the Green Zombie Gingerbread Cookie that was available during the holidays.

The Atmosphere

The real reason we pick the Hungry Bear restaurant is that we just enjoy being there.  The restaurant is located in Critter Country, right next to the Winnie the Pooh ride and tucked into the back side of the Rivers of America.  From the upper deck you can watch the Mark Twain and the Columbia go by.  You can see the train and occasionally canoe races. There are plenty of tables, and you can generally get sun or shade, as you desire.  During busy times, go down the stairs to find another large seating area as well as Disney-size bathrooms.

Mobile Ordering is the best thing since churros.

Mobile ordering is available at the Hungry Bear, and our entire family agrees that’s one of the best things to hit Disneyland since the churro. We stood in line for the Jungle Cruise, passing the phone around as we picked our food.  Then we strolled over to the restaurant, told the app we were there, and sat down to wait, skipping the ordering line that was in full sun.  After a few minutes, our order was ready for pick-up.
