The Landis Hotel and Suites is one of our favorite places to stay when we are in Vancouver, B.C. It gives us plenty of space and convenience and is located in downtown. I think the thing we like most about it is that instead of feeling like tourists in a hotel, we get experience what it would be like to live in an apartment in Vancouver. We can walk to restaurants like Nando’s or the Breka bakery. We can walk down to the water and take the Aquabus over to the Granville Island Market.
A number of other women have also taken it successfully. Side effects may include: stomach xenical orlistat roche trova prezzo upset, nausea and headache. This is especially true for those who are overweight and have to.
It helps to prevent nausea in patients with cancer chemotherapy. Although doxycycline does not always work, Nerekhta cost of clomid treatment it will definitely make your life better. The best solution for you could possibly be to obtain some natural treatments that are cheap and are working in many cases better than prescription medications.
The Landis offers two kinds of suites: the Executive Suite which is 800 hundred square feet (the size of our first house, but never mind) and the Deluxe Suite which is 1,000 square feet. Both offer a full kitchen, dining and living areas, two bedrooms, and a large bathroom. The Deluxe Condo also has a second, smaller full bathroom near the smaller bedroom. As far as I can tell, that is the only difference, but we have only ever stayed in the Deluxe Condo. Both Suites have an enclosed balcony. Penthouse suites that are 1450 square feet are also available.
The large master suite has a door to close it off from the living area, and it has its own thermostat. The master bathroom has two sinks in a vanity with plenty of drawers. It has a large tub, and a separate glass shower. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed which was very comfortable for us. It also has a large desk area with storage drawers, a flat screen t.v., and a large closet with mirrored doors. Two bedside tables offer quite a bit of storage as well. There are plenty of outlets available. While the bedroom has blackout curtains, we could never quite make them cover the whole window, so it was never completely dark.
The second bedroom isn’t as roomy and has a queen bed. It has a desk, t.v., and a generous closet with mirrored doors. In the deluxe suites, the nearby bathroom is smaller, but it is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The galley kitchen includes a full-size stove, dishwasher, and
refrigerator. A microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee maker are available as well. The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes, pots, utensils, and kitchen linens. While it might not have all the things you use at home, you can usually make-do. We find it useful to bring paper towels and foil.
The dining area has a glass-topped table and fabulous views out the floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. While there are only four chairs, you can borrow a desk chair from one of the bedrooms if necessary.
The nearby living area has a couch that folds out into a full-size bed, a flat-screen t.v. and access to the
enclosed balcony. There isn’t much storage space in the living area. If you have two people sharing the fold-out couch as we did, they will find it challenging to fit their clothes into the entry closet. There are no blackout curtains in the living area, so it is never completely dark for people on the foldout couch.
The Landis is located in a downtown area, and it has lots of windows. Street sounds are audible at pretty much all times of day, though it is a lot quieter at night. It is also located near a hospital, and it is not uncommon to hear sirens a few times during the night. To us, it’s part of the ambiance, but a light sleeper might be bothered by the noise and need earplugs.
The Landis shares a fitness area and a pool with the neighboring Marriot. The fitness area has the expected machines, free weights, and yoga balls and mats. The pool is a standard hotel pool that goes from about 3 feet to about 5 feet. We saw several people swimming laps. Parents can supervise older kids from the comfort of a nearby hot tub. The pool area sees good use, but I’ve never felt like it was an overwhelming number of people. Changing areas are located on this level and could do with some refurbishing. Since the rest of the hotel was being refurbished when we were there April, 2018, we hope the changing areas will get a little love soon. They are just a little dingy and are eternally cold. The men’s changing area has lockers. The women’s changing area has laundry facilities. I don’t know what men do if they need to do laundry.
Free wifi is available, but self-parking is around $25 Canadian a night. Rollaways are available for about $30 Canadian a night. A free shuttle can be scheduled for drop-off-only service to local attractions including the cruise ship terminal.
