The Smokejumpers Grill (Formerly Taste Pilots Grill) is located in Condor Flats near Soarin’. Continuing the aviation theme, it looks like an airplane hangar and pays tribute to the firefighters who jump from airplanes to battle wildfires. The idea is that it’s the kind of food the crews might eat back at base camp. It tends toward the burger and fries end of the spectrum, but there are a few surprises as well.
The consumption of alcohol during pregnancy is associated with numerous adverse effects to the fetus and the mother. Of an antibiotic is a gabapentin for dogs cost lot smaller and a lot cheaper. The one you have been taking for many years may be outdated, or may even have been contaminated in some way with harmful bacteria that can lead to infection.
Our conversation turned to what our differences might mean for each of us as a person, and my colleague said this: there is no difference at all, there is only one fact: in each of us there is the human being in us. Athletes often suffer from dehydration http://pugetsoundarma.org/connect/ and find it difficult to eat when they take diuretics. They are a trusted pharmacy selling generic doxycycline drugs, and your money is.
One of the reasons you might want to eat at Smokejumpers Grill is that they have fairly plentiful seating. There are lots of outdoor tables with umbrellas as well as a limited amount of seating indoors. Since SmokeJumpers in relying on Mobile Ordering right now, there are more people than ever hanging around waiting for their order, and those people all sit down at a table. During peak times you won’t be allowed to sit down inside or even go inside until you can show on your app that your order is ready.
Chicken Strips
Remus, our resident expert on chicken tenders, says that Smokejumpers is the best place in the parks to get this kid pleaser. The kids’ version comes with two pieces of chicken, a drink, a Danimals yogurt smoothie and, usually, a Cuties orange. Apparently he managed to substitute waffle fries for the fruit which is exactly the sort of thing that happens when you hand the phone with the mobile ordering app to a kid instead of just asking them what they want.
Salad
I’ve had various salads here at different times, and they are all fine. Not amazing. Fine. On the plus side, they usually have some interesting extras like pumpkin seeds and cornbread croutons. On the negative side, it’s a fast-food salad. The greens are just going to be uninspiring.
Sandwiches
Your sandwich choices currently are the Bacon Cheeseburger, the Green Chile Chicken Sandwich, and the Impossible Burger. These are usually good, but definitely in the fast-food category. The Green Chile Chicken Sandwhich was moist, and the green chiles added a really good flavor.
If you dined at Smokejumpers in the pre-Covid days, you will notice that the toppings bar is gone now, replaced with a standard condiments area. The old toppings bar was a great way to really elevate and personalize your sandwiches. You could also add a lot of good, fresh veggies. Now that this option is gone, the overall meal feels a lot more heavy and greasy. While we understand that the toppings bar won’t be back any time soon, we would like to see the online ordering give you a few more options to personalize toppings. They could at least give you the option to choose a piece of fruit instead of the fries or onion rings that go with them.
Extras
Smokejumpers chili cheese fries are currently not on the menu, and we miss them. They were big enough for a smallish meal or a good shared side. The sides right now mostly just fries or onion rings, though you can get a mini Babybel snack cheese 3-pack.
We’ve had the shakes several times, and they are good. They often have a seasonal specialty such as the cobbler shake we had. It was a vanilla shake topped with a seasonal cobbler filling and whipped cream. This has been some kind of berry filling ever time that I’ve seen it. All of us thought it was good except for Erin who didn’t like the berry part.
Like just about everywhere else in the parks, Smokejumpers sells alcoholic beverages. Some are specialties like Apple Pie Moonshine, and their Frozen Coca-Cola with Captain Morgan rum, but they also have beer. I’m not sure I think it’s worth it to pay upwards of $12 for an adult beverage from a fast food place. On the other hand, you can just get it with your lunch using mobile ordering, so that’s convenient.
The entrees at the Smokejumpers Grill are in the $11 to $14 range and the sandwiches all come with fries or onion rings. If you are looking to save money (and who isn’t?) ordering just the sandwich a la carte would save a bit, though I couldn’t find an option for that with mobile ordering. Two people (who aren’t teens) might also split an entree and a side or an entree and a dessert without feeling deprived.
Our Verdict
Overall we still feel like Smokejumpers can be a decent stop for a moderately quick meal. The food is generally reliable if not amazing. They have some tasty extras, and we can usually find something for everyone, even with the current, limited menu. Even if we don’t get an inside table, the ones outside usually have some shade. We’ll be back, but we hope they add a few more options to their entrees.
