I should probably confess that I liked Ariel’s Grotto and wasn’t a big fan of retheming it. For that reason, I put off trying Lamplight Lounge for several years. On a recent trip, a friend and I gave it a try.
But the burden of interest on this debt hasn’t decreased. This nolvadex cost Nikol’skoye is a very simple to use device as it is just an electronic device that you plug into an ac outlet. It is taken in two different forms, either as a liquid, which is given by mouth, or as an oral tablet that is given by mouth once a day, every day for a minimum of 14 days or as directed by your doctor.
It is one of the most prescribed drugs for depression and the most commonly prescribed drug for generalized anxiety disorder. Sildenafil citrate is a medication that has buy clomid nz Arāmbāgh an active ingredient, sildenafil citrate, and it is an orally effective treatment for erectile dysfunction in men who have erectile dysfunction. There are a number of reasons why pravachol without a prescription can be a good drug to buy.
The Atmosphere
Just like when it was Ariel’s Grotto, you enter on the upper floor, but the main dining is down below. Right away, you see all sorts of Pixar touches from a chandelier of character sketches to a wall of movie quotes near the bathroom and models that were used to animate various characters. The walls are covered in movie posters and other Pixar memorabilia. This is fun and gives you plenty to look at, but I’ll admit that it made me think of an upscale Red Robin.
We had advanced dining reservations and were seated shortly after our arrival. The atmosphere was comfortable and semi-loud. The wait staff we encountered were friendly, knowledgable, and arrived at all the appropriate times.
The Food
Our plans that night included the World Of Color Dessert Party, so we opted for appetizers and drinks. I tried out the Crispy Piggy Wings which actually reminded me a lot of the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings from Trader Sam’s or the Tangaroa Terrace. They both have that crispy, deep fried outside covered in a sticky sauce that’s both tangy and sweet. If pressed, I’d probably say I preferred the chicken wings though. The Crispy Piggy Wings also come with a slaw that seemed like it was pretty tasty, but I’m not a big fan of slaw.
My friend got the Potato Skins, and these were a fun surprise. The potatoes were deep-fried, puffy, and soft on the inside with a crispy outside. This was rather artistically presented with the sauces sort of painted onto the plate. This would be my go-to another time.
Both the appetizers we tried were good and enough to make a light meal or to share for the table. The Bites menu ranged from $12 for the Deviled Eggs and Toast to $21 for their famous Lobster nachos.
The main menu includes salads, a burger, sandwiches, and ratatouille. Entrees are $19 to $23.
The Drinks
I started off with the Scream Canister. It has rum, coconut, and fruit juice which is really all I’m looking for in an adult beverage. This was very good and did not go light on the rum, though I think it was not quite as strong as the Yub Nub at Oga’s Cantina. My friend tried the Open Ocean With A Splash which was a grown-up slushy made with raspberry rum and fruit juices. This was quite tasty, but I hesitated to get my own since I didn’t want something that cold. Our server suggested trying it on the rocks. This was not bad, but when it’s not frozen, it becomes a little too sweet and put me in mind of cough syrup. It certainly was pretty though.
Cocktails were in the $10 to $15 range. Lamplight Lounge also offers wines by the glass or the bottle as well as beer. Non-alcoholic specialty drinks are $6-$7.
Is Lamplight Lounge For Kids?
If you’d take your kids to a Red Robin, then Lamplight Lounge probably works too, though there are fewer choices. The kid’s menu includes sliders, a PB & J roll, pasta with cheese, and chicken tenders with orange sauce. These are $8-$10. Older kids might prefer to order off the adult menu. Doughnuts with dipping sauce are available for dessert, and there are four specialty non-alcoholic beverages available in addition to soda and hot chocolate.
While this restaurant is suitable for kids, it may seem less fun to small kids who don’t really care about the history of Pixar or how animation is made. The children’s menu is also somewhat limited, and if you’ve got a kid who will only eat cheese pizza and grilled cheese (been there) then you’re out of luck. While service wasn’t slow by any means, it did involve more waiting around than just using Mobile Ordering to get a burger at the Smoke Jumpers Grill.
Our Verdict
We enjoyed eating at the Lamplight Lounge and would go there again. It was fun and casual without being overwhelming. The restaurant had interesting food and fun cocktails. It would make a nice, if pricey, break during a day at the parks. If I were going with small kids, I would carefully check out the menu ahead of time to make sure there was something my small folks would eat.
